When children don’t want to eat, the team will sit with them, eating a small portion of the same food and making “yummy” noises to encourage them.
Parents can bring labelled breast milk each day in their own bottle.
In the morning, the children will come into the nursery and start with breakfast. After that they will have free flow and nappy changing, before time in the garden. We then give the children a snack before doing a focus activity, then free flow and nappy changing. We break for lunch time, then nap time and nappy changing. The children then have another snack before a free flow activity and an afternoon garden session. We do further nappy changing, then tea before another free flow session. The children have a final snack time before going home.
At the moment we don’t go on any outings due to COVID-19 but we will be looking at resuming this in September, or earlier, after reviewing the situation.
